As a disability support worker at Scope, your job is to support people with a range of daily tasks, both at home and out in the community. Every day can look different.

You can work in a range of settings

At Scope, we deliver disability support services in a range of settings across our two key delivery models – Scope and Home@Scope (which is a subsidiary of Scope). You don’t need a qualification to join our team of disability support workers. You’ll be paid an hourly rate and can work in one of the below settings:

Social Connections

(Scope only)

This service provides centre- and community-based activities to people with a disability, offering recreation, leisure, skills development and education, work readiness and work experience. 

Short-term Accommodation

(Scope and Home@Scope)

Our short-term accommodation is ideal for overnight or weekend visits, such as respite care, and includes options for children. If you work in one of these houses, you’ll be supporting the people staying there to build their skills or enjoy a short break from their regular home.

Supported Independent Living

(Scope and Home@Scope)

Our houses across Victoria accommodate between two and seven people, and provide a friendly and caring environment with some of the best quality supports in the disability sector. If you work in one of these houses, you’d be supporting our clients with daily household or personal tasks such as cleaning, cooking, showering, and shopping.
